He took great care with an old upright that hadn't been tuned in 23 years and got it back on the road to being a vibrant, playable instrument again. We still have some more repair work to do, but so far we're really pleased with his efforts.

I reached out to Ken to have my recently gifted Sohmer Baby Grand tuned.  The piano is well over 100 years old and who knows when it was last tuned.  Ken was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable.  He explained the inner workings of the piano and we discussed tuning to 440 vs. relative tuning due to the age of my piano.  I'm a musician so we also had time to chat about music in general.  Ken's prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend him for all your piano tuning/repair needs.

I inherited a piano that had not been played or tuned in some 50 years, but is in excellent condition with no obvious repairs needed. Ken scheduled an appointment for the next day ( a well-timed cancellation), arrived promptly, and finished the tuning quickly. He was pleasant and professional. I plan to call him again in a few weeks for a follow-up tuning and thereafter as needed.
